FAQ
Our DPF emulator fully copies all the sensor signals that would normally be sent with a working DPF filter. Once the emulator is connected, the ECU thinks that a fully operational DPF filter is installed.
Installing the DPF emulator usually takes 30-60 minutes, depending on the specific vehicle model and the installer’s experience.
1. Install the emulator in the cabin or under the hood. Make sure it is not exposed to water. 2. Connect the emulator wires to the temperature sensors. 3. Connect the emulator wires to the differential pressure sensor. 4. Connect the emulator wires to the MAP or MAF sensor. 5. Delete all DTC codes and take a test drive for a few hours. 6. After the emulator operates properly, remove the elements of the DPF filter.
We recommend checking compatibility with your vehicle. Our website has a list of supported models.
Installing the emulator can improve vehicle performance and fuel efficiency by eliminating issues related to a clogged DPF filter.
It is recommended to periodically check the emulator's operation, especially before long trips, to ensure it is working correctly.
Using the emulator can be a more economical solution, as replacing the DPF filter can be expensive and the emulator requires no further maintenance.
If problems arise, contact our support team. We provide assistance and troubleshooting advice.
In some countries, the use of DPF emulators may be restricted or prohibited. We recommend checking local laws and regulations.
